St. Mark's Primary School

We are very proud of the fact that we have an "OUTSTANDING" (Ofsted Report 2012) Church of England Aided Primary School here in our parish, which has close links with the life of the Church.

The children from the School often present worship in the Church, along with concerts, plays, and the like.  We also use the church building for teaching sessions on occasions.  All of this helps underline a unique and significant relationship, which ensures a seamless link between these two institutions.

The children of Years 1 - 6 all took part in a "Remembrance" Project, which included visiting the Church for an inter-active session using the many resources linked to the First World War that are to be found there.
The School also held its own 'Remembrance' Service in the Hall, and displayed their own memorials as illustrated by these photos ...
